Please join the Alamo Empire, Inc. for a special fundraiser during the month of November called “November 2025 Dollar A Day”.
In Texas, during 2024, 3.47 million people relied on SNAP benefits (food stamps) to help afford groceries. In Bexar County, where most of the Alamo Empire members live, nearly 300,000 people depend on these benefits. Now with the shutdown of the Federal Government, many are left without jobs and/or pay. With the uncertainty of how long the shutdown will last and even with just the holidays quickly approaching, many people are left uncertain if they will have enough food to put on the table for their families.
Each Day, during the month of November 2025, the Alamo Empire will be posting on social media and email, asking for the dollar amount corresponding to that day. For example, on November 1st, we’ll be asking for a $1 donation, on November 2nd, $2 and so on. This will go on every day until November 30th when we’ll be asking for $30. FYI, multiple people can donate the same amount on any given day. Also, if someone would like just to donate for the whole month, it would equal $465. With your generous donation, we hope it helps to feed many people in our community. Each person who donates will be put into a drawing for a chance to win a Visa gift card donated by Empress Emeritus 33 The Lovely Michele. For every $10 you donate, you will get one chance to win, however the maximum chances someone will have is five chances.
